Referral Policies

Thank you for taking the time to read our policies. These policies are necessary to ensure that only individuals who have meaningfully contributed to the community are eligible to post a referral link so they can be rewarded for their efforts accordingly.

While the requirements listed are based on your activity with r/churningcanada, we are a separate entity from them. This means that r/churningcanada will have their own policies and requirements for eligibility to post in referral threads within their community, which are independent of this site’s requirements.

Requirements

  • 90 day old Reddit Account

  • Access to your Reddit account to respond to a direct message

    • This is to verify that the Reddit account you are using for recognition is valid and belongs to you. We will send a message out within 24 hours to your listed account through Personal Messages (the messages section in old.reddit.com, Inbox > Messages on the Reddit App and New Reddit) only. A reply is only required to one of the messages, failure to respond within 72 hours after we send the confirmation message to you will constitute grounds for cancellation of your submission. You may resubmit your links at anytime through the form on our site, provided you fulfill the requirements at the time we review your updated submission.

  • 250 Karma from high quality answers* in r/churningcanada within the last 90 days (If you are unsure of your current karma standing, you can use this external site⧉ to check)

    • High quality answers are determined by our team. Generally speaking, anything that helps other people within the community will constitute high quality answers. Comments or submissions that are not helpful, or otherwise do not meaningfully help someone else, even if they are highly upvoted, will not count towards high quality answers.

Temporary Policies in effect:

  • At this time, only AMEX Canada Referrals are accepted.

  • AMEX US Links are NOT ACCEPTED. Links for any other service, card, account are NOT ACCEPTED.

  • We will be adding more options for referrals soon! (Note: the link for referral submission may change as we add additional options!)

  • We will begin posting your referrals in a few days across all “Apply Now” buttons on our site as well as as a new dedicated page, as we collect our initial batch of referrals

  • At this time, if you have multiple referral links, you will need to make multiple form submissions.

  • We are not accepting cross product referral links at this time (Biz Plat to Biz Gold, Cobalt to Gold, etc.). The referral link you paste in the form must originate from the product selected.

Please note that these policies are subject to change with or without prior notice, and if a submission no longer meets the requirements for referral submissions, they will be removed without notice. It is your sole responsibility to regularly review these indicated policies.
